We believe that if we work with families in restorative ways keeping children at the heart of decisions that affect them, we can support and enable families to effectively resolve their own problems at the earliest opportunity by providing the right amount of support for the right children for the right amount of time, ensuring that the local authorities intervention in family life only occurs when necessary but is timely, appropriate, and proportionate when needed.
